The rack is made of stainless steel. Choosing the right stays height will allow you to set the correct tire clearance. You can then adjust the tilt using the crown mount.
Tips and tricks
For tires up to 29x2.25, 270mm stays is used when mounted on a bosses, which is ~ 165mm higher than the wheel axle. If you have bosses above this line and start at 200mm, use 230mm stays.

You can see the colors of welding, but no coating.
OIL SLIK
Titanium nitride coating is thick and resistant to mechanical stress and does not fade with use.
POLISHED
Classic. Uncoated polished stainless steel.
